The Third Door
In a vintage gas station building, in the midst of Marietta square, The Third Door is the newest addition to the exciting destination spot in West Cobb. The speak-easy style lounge opened its doors in the most difficult time possible, the Spring of 2020. While normal marketing efforts would have included massive crowd draws and special events, the social distancing rules presented unique challenges for the young brand. Adding “safe” to the messaging and creating an image intriguing enough to generate excitement proved sufficient to launch what will be a landmark space in Marietta.
A bespoke, curated experience
Whether it’s live music, custom cocktails, or small-plate foods, the lounge has been attracting a steady crowd since its opening due, in large part, to a very visual presentation of the experience throughout social and digital channels.
Small and intimate is intriguing
The swanky space is designed to feel private and exclusive, helping create an ambiance reminiscent of speakeasies of the ’20s which, coincidentally, worked well for the conditions of 2020. Open photos and rich colors create a sense of safety and security for the Third Door.
A terribly kept secret
Working through market challenges, the launch events, digital footprint, and branding created for The Third Door has helped build a quick reputation as the place to go, in Marietta, for an exclusive-feeling experience for foodies and entertainment lovers alike.
